Privacy Policy

The short version: 7Climb does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data outside your Karoo device. There is no cloud, no account, no analytics, no telemetry. Your ride data stays on your device.

Data Processing

7Climb processes the following data locally on your Karoo device in real time:

Power, heart rate, cadence, and speed from connected sensors
GPS location, altitude, and gradient from Karoo
Route and navigation data when a route is loaded
Your settings: FTP, weight, bike setup, and preferences

All processing happens entirely on-device. No data is sent to any server, API, or third-party service.

Data Storage

7Climb stores the following data locally on your Karoo:

Settings — athlete profile, pacing, detection, and alert preferences
Climb history — recorded climbs and personal records for PR tracking
FIT data — W' balance and pacing fields written to Karoo's standard FIT files

This data is stored in the app's private storage and is deleted when you uninstall 7Climb.

Network Access

7Climb does not make any network requests. The app has no internet permission and cannot communicate with external servers.

Third-Party Services

7Climb does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services.

Open Source

7Climb is fully open source under the MIT license. You can inspect the complete source code at github.com/yrkan/7climb to verify these claims.

Website

This website (7climb.com) is a static site hosted on Cloudflare. It does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts. Cloudflare may collect standard access logs (IP address, user agent) as part of their infrastructure — see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
